2 teams from Palos Verdes, CA came to the tournament, best gifts and really nice parents and coaches. Palos Verded "Strikers" and "The Comets"
Our 1st game was against P.V. Strikers which we lost 0-4 but later that day we played P.V. Comets and won 2-1, which was really special because they are a team we might only beat, 1 out of every 10 games.

The last season coaching Kosmo in U10 boys select (gold team). We had a great season and made it to championship during the July Hawaii Rainbow Soccer tournament only to loose to Kaneohe 1-2.

You never know who you'll meet in Hawaii or in this case when you referee an AYSO game. I arrived at the field this day and was asked to help a new volunteer referee. Turns out this guys is Pierre Omidyar, Founder of eBay, so cool and such a nice guy.

2011 Challenger Soccer Camp Haleiwa Hawaii
My favorite part about the Challenger Soccer camp is that on the last day they play World Cup. Parents and kids did a great job painting their faces. My son Kosmo below and my daughter Rhea, love the England mask with the knocked out teeth. Coach Olly really knows how to have fun using only cones.
North Shore Region 289 U10 Boys Select 2010
That's me on the far left and my son Kosmo in the white t-shirt. First season coaching U10 Select and if I remember correctly 3 or 4 players we pulled up from U8 including Kosmo. We lost every game that season something I'd prefer never to repeat again, not the best feeling, it really wears down the coaches, players, and parents the deeper into the season you go.
